Permalink Hundertwasserhaus, Vienna, Austria [arch/artist Freidensreich Hundertwasser/Joseph Krawina] Colourful and a bit like a great big iced cake. Still has flat floors and vertical walls under the patterning though.

Permalink Secession Building, Vienna [arch. Josef Maria Olbrich] A curiously elaborate little building. But you can’t go past a golden sphere. Or cabbage, as the case may be.

Permalink Festung Hohensalzburg, Austria Looming over Salzburg, watching all those tourists doing their Julie Andrews impressions and stuffing their faces with Mozartkugeln.
